About Friends FAQ
What is a Friend?
A Friend is someone who supports our work bringing arts events to Bradford on Avon. In return, we say thank you with tickets, early booking, and a few nice extras.
Is this a membership?
Yes — but we prefer to think of it as joining a friendly local club. No secret handshakes required.
How do the free tickets work?
You can use your free tickets on any of our events (subject to availability). Once you join, we’ll explain exactly how to book them.
Can I choose my tickets later?
Absolutely. You don’t have to decide straight away.
Do Friends get better seats?
Priority booking means Friends get access before general sale — which often means better choice.
What’s the Joyful Bag?
It’s our very own tote bag, designed for everyday use and gentle arts-related bragging. Ideal for books, shopping, and life in general.
Can I give a Friends membership as a gift?
Yes! You can gift a membership and we’ll send the recipient a welcome email (or a printable version if you’d prefer).
Do memberships renew automatically?
No —we’ll remind you when it’s nearly time, and you can decide then.
Is my support really helpful?
Very. Friends provide reliable, local support that helps us plan events, pay artists fairly, and keep ticket prices accessible.
